AJK triumphed National Bank of Pakistan T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2016 Bahawalpur

Peshawar Vs AJK:  (Venue: Dring Stadium Bahawalpur)

The final of the National Bank of Pakistan T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2016 was played today at Dring Stadium Bahawalpur between AJK and Peshawar.

In the morning, Peshawar won the toss and decided to use the soil first. Peshawar batsmen played well and posted a mammoth total of 248 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Haroon Khan was the star for Peshawar he made 69 off 34 balls. Masood Jan also chipped in with 59 runs off 35 balls. Habib Taj claimed 2 wickets.

Azad Jammu & Kashmir in reply played outstandingly and reached the stiff target of 249 runs in 19 overs without losing a wicket. Openers Nisar Ali and Muhammad Jamil scored centuries, Nisar remained unbeaten on 113 runs off 56 balls and Jamil made 109 not out off 59 balls.

Result: AJK won by 10 wickets                          Man of the Match: Nisar Ali

Man of the Tournament: Riasat Khan in B1 Category, Badar Munir in B2 Category, Mohsin Khan in B3 and Masood Jan Best Wicket Keeper.

Mr. Owais Asad, Executive Vice President, and Head of CSR Division National Bank of Pakistan and Syed Sultan Shah President World Blind Cricket Ltd & Chairman PBCC were the Chief Guests of the occasion and distributed prizes amongst the players.
