PBCC Excellence Award Ceremony and Dinner

Pakistan Blind Cricket Council in recognition to achievements of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team, Ex-players & for the individuals who made the recent 5th edition of Cricket World Cup of the Blind (ODI format) held in Pakistan & UAE from 7th to 20th January 2018 a tremendous success, conducted “PBCC Excellence Award Ceremony & Dinner” at Hotel Crown Plaza, Lahore on dated 17th February 2018.

PBCC awarded Rs=100,000/ (One Lakh each) to Twenty (20) players of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team, these Rs=20/ Lakh were awarded by Peshawar Zalmi last year.
In addition to that, PBCC also awarded Rs=50,000/ (Fifty thousand) each to Pakistan Team officials.

PBCC also acclaimed the services of former Pakistan Team Captain Zeeshan Abbasi, Muhammad Jamil and Vice Captain Amir Ishfaq who got retired on the eve of recently concluded World Cup were also awarded with Rs=200,000/ (Two lakhs) each.

Life Time Achievement Awards were given to Nafees Ahmad Ex-Coach of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team (Under his coaching Pakistan Team won two World Cups in 2002 & 2006) along with cash award of Rs=200,000/ (Two Lakh rupees).

Rana Tab Irfani (The Pioneer promoter of Cricket of the Blind in Pakistan) was awarded with Life Time Achievement Award and cash award of Rs=100,000/ (One Lakh rupees).The musical entertainment by the vibrant singers of the country added icing on the cake of colorful ceremony.

Pakistan Blind Cricket Council also acclaimed the services of the Organizing Committee, Volunteers and PBCC employees who worked day & night to make this World Cup a success.

On the sidelines of the Award ceremony, PBCC conducted Two Days National Conference on "Root cause analysis & future strategies to Uplift Blind Cricket in Pakistan”. PBCC Board of Directors, representatives of all affiliated clubs, Pakistan Blind Cricket Team and different stake holders participated in it. Participants analyzed different aspects and defined an ACTION PLAN as future strategies.
