Pakistan Women won the toss and opted to field first, sending Autralia in to bat. Australia Women managed to post a competative total of 158/4 in their 20 overs. Despite steady contributions from C Buakhao, who top-scored with 46 runs off 47 balls while C Lwis added a 35 runs off 29 balls. Pakistan Women’s bowling was led by Nimra Rafique who took 1, keeping Australia Women’s scoring in check.
In reply, Pakistan Women’s chased down the target comfortably, reaching 159/3 in just 19.2 overs to secure a 7-wicket victory. Mehreen Ali anchored the chase with 44 off 46 balls, supported by Nisha’s 36 runs off 43 balls. Babar Ali’s bowling efforts were a bright spot for Sindh, as he took all 4 wickets that fell during the chase, but it wasn’t enough to defend the modest total.
